What this site is
A personal, non-commercial website. I write about growth marketing, analytics, and the tooling around both, and I publish the sources for what I claim.
It sells nothing. There is no shop, no service offering, no consulting page, no advertising, no affiliate link, and no sponsorship. The disclosure page sets out my employment and the one conflict of interest I previously failed to declare.
I work as a Growth Marketer at Yakkyo S.p.A. This site is not operated by, hosted by, funded by, or reviewed by Yakkyo S.p.A. Nothing published here is a statement by my employer, and everything here is written in a private capacity.

Why this page exists
Article 5 of Directive 2000/31/EC, the EU e-Commerce Directive, requires a provider of information society services to make certain information “easily, directly and permanently accessible”. At minimum that means the provider’s name, the geographic address where they are established, and contact details including an email address allowing rapid and direct communication. Trade register and VAT details are required only where the provider is registered or subject to VAT. In Italy the directive is implemented by Decreto Legislativo 9 aprile 2003, n. 70.
Whether a non-commercial personal site is caught by that obligation is arguable. I am not going to argue it. The Stanford Guidelines for Web Credibility put “show that there’s a real organization behind your site” second and “make it easy to contact you” fifth out of ten. On the version of this site that this build replaces, this URL returned a 404, alongside ten others in the same family. Telling you who I am and where to find me costs me nothing and is the whole basis on which you might believe anything else here.
